Kansas City Gems: Kansas City Jazz with Chuck Haddix

Chuck Haddix will share his deep knowledge about Kansas City Jazz with us.  He has hosted the weekend “Fish Fry” on KCUR for many decades and has written several books and articles on the original American music form.  He will talk about a new CD, “Bird in Kansas City”, created from rare recordings in the Marr Sound Archives, which he co-produced for Verve Records.
