KC Gems: Fountains of the City of Fountains April 8

KC Gems Classes can last 60 to 120 minutes depending on topic, presenter and participant interaction.

How did we become known as The City of Fountains? What is the role of fountains in the identity of Kansas City? We will discuss the history and stories behind our fountains, and their wide variety of styles, materials and ages. This will include a discussion of the challenges and importance of maintaining them for future generations.  Find out about our annual Fountain Day in Kansas City!
