More Hyphenated Rock with Steve Lopes

Monday (Sept 16–Oct 21) from 1:30-3:30pm in-person at 4825 Troost, Room 112, Kansas City, MO 64110 or online via a private Zoom link. Due to the interactive nature of the class, in-person participation is strongly recommended.

Help us continue our journey to a better understanding of the many genres of rock music. This course will be play-as-you-go with participants suggesting what to explore and discuss using recordings and video examples.   Please join the conversation as we share our experiences! More Hyphenated Rock is not intended to be a continuation of  our last course but will be based on a different approach. Steve will be asking participants to share the genres that most appeal to them- whether they like them or not.  (Such as “I don’t like disco, but would like to know more about it.” )  Your participant will be crucial to shaping our class!
