Kansas City played an important role in the coming of age of the automobile as both a technological force and a societal milestone. Learn about the automotive history of Kansas City and its impact on the world. The Museum has a large rotating collection of vehicles to showcase the culture, artistry, industry and innovation of the automobile and curates a different themed exhibit each month.
PARKING: The museum is located on the east side of I-35. From I-35 southbound take the 119th Street (exit 220) for eastbound lanes. Go east on 119th Street to Strang Line Road and turn left (north). Proceed north on Strang Line Road to 116th Street, then turn right. The Kansas City Automotive Museum is on the corner of 116th Street0. Plenty of free parking is available beside the building.
