Location: The Rabbit hOle, 919 East 14th Street, North Kansas City, MO
Parking: The Rabbit hOle is a gray, four story warehouse building with three neon rabbits on top! It is located on the southwest corner of 14th Avenue and Knox Street in North Kansas City. It is only accessible by travelling on 14th Avenue.
From northbound I-35, exit onto Armour Road westbound. Turn left on Iron Street, go south about three long blocks and turn left on 14th Avenue. Go east two blocks and turn right on Knox Street (one way street southbound).
OR
The Heart of American Bridge (9 Hwy) becomes Burlington Street after crossing the river. Go north on Burlington, turn right onto 14th Avenue. Go east about 11 blocks and turn right on Knox Street (one way street southbound).
The Rabbit hOle is on the west side of Knox Street with some free parking along the south end of the building. On the east side of the street are two free parking lots for the Rabbit hOle. The first driveway is to a gravel parking lot. Further down the street is the entrance to a paved parking lot.
The entrance to the Rabbit hOle is on 14th Avenue. There is some “2 Hour Street Parking” on 14th, before Knox Street, but it will probably be full.
The wait is finally over!! Years in the making…we will visit The Rabbit hOle, a new kind of museum experience that celebrates and brings to life a century of American children’s literature for visitors of all ages. This is the first museum of its kind in the United States. Spanning three floors, visitors become explorers in an immersive, multi-sensory, narrative landscape filled with discoverable environments.
