Western Civilization: Commercial Revolution – Tuesday In Person

Meets in person weekly at SPARK’s NEW LOCATION at 4747 Troost, Basement Level
This semester we will study the Commercial Revolution that grew out of the Age of Exploration. Middle-class, merchant capitalists will benefit most as fortunes are made in the colonial empires of Spain and Portugal. Spain, the most powerful state in Europe will squander its extraordinary wealth conducting Wars of Religion in a failed effort to restore Roman Catholicism.
