We will explore the story of Krishna, the 8th Avatar of god Vishnu while incorporating some concepts of Hindu belief using the mechanism of 18th century paintings that depict the unfolding of his life story.

 

Marcella Sirhandi earned her PhD in South Asian Art History from Ohio State University and has taught the KC Art Institute as well as UMKC. A Professor Emerita at Oklahoma State University, here books and journal articles focus on contemporary Indian and Pakistani Art.
