About This Course

Course Description

You are committing to participate in the Wednesday class via Zoom from your own device.  We will not have an in-person seat in the classroom available for you.

This semester we’ll be turning back the hands of time to the late 16th and 17th centuries when science became modern. With the birth of the scientific method and the institutionalization of scientific thought remarkable strides were made in the mathematical sciences like physics and astronomy. Scientists like Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo and Newton will unlock the natural laws governing the universe and man will start to perceive of a time when man could control nature for the benefit of mankind.
