UMKC requires that all vehicles parking in the lots at the 4747 Troost building display a parking hang tag each day you park in our lot or utilize the AMP phone app to pay for metered parking. This includes those using handicapped parking. Failure to do so will result in a parking ticket from the UMKC Campus Police.
You will receive your tag by US Postal Service mail when ordered at least 5 days in advance or may pick it up when you come to the office.

You will need one parking tag for each day that you plan to park in our lot. You will receive your tag by US Postal Service mail or may pick it up when you come to the office. If you order more than one tag, you may pick up the additional tags when you come to the office.
These physical tags require that the date, month and year of the day you are parking in our lot be completely scratched off much like a lottery ticket. Failure in this area will also result in a parking ticket from the UMKC Campus Police.
SPARK has no control over this issue.
Cost per tag – $5 (one tag is needed for each day you park in the lots at 4747 Troost)
The AMP phone app is available in your phones app store. AMP Parking is available in the lot of 4825 Troost parallel to the fence facing Troost. The rate as of November 2023 is $1.25 per hour.
