UMKC requires that all vehicles parking in the lots at the 4747 Troost building to utilize electronic parking passes.  This includes those using handicapped parking.  Failure to do so will result in a parking ticket from the UMKC Campus Police.

SPARK has no control over this issue nor the limited number of spaces in the lot.

UMKC is converting to an electronic parking pass at all campus locations. Beginning in 2026 , hangtags are no longer acceptable for your visits to campus as we now have license plate reader capabilities.

SPARK Members can purchase electronic passes that are only good at 4747 Troost for a discounted rate.  The electronic passes will need to be renewed each quarter.
