World War II Clubmobiles with Robert Gangwere

American Red Cross clubmobiles were mobile kitchens staffed by a thousand or more “clubmobile girls” who played an integral role in maintaining the morale of thousands of American Gis during World War II. Some of them served closer to the front lines than almost any other American women.
