The Second American Revolution presented by Al Gumbs

It begins on Tuesday, September 16 and ends on October 21.
This class is in a HYBRID format – participate in-person or on Zoom.
Using primary sources, this course will span the period from early settlement in North America, the colonies and England’s rule, the Articles of Confederation , the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and its final document, to ratification of the Bill of Rights, and wrap up with a discussion about America’s history with the unresolved issue of slavery.
Al Gumbs was a SPARK co-founder in 1993 and has remained active over SPARK’s 30+ year history. He attended Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute and studied physics.
