Beginners Tai Chi

Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am.
4747 Troost (direct entrance off of Forest Ave.) Room 201.
It begins on Monday, September 15 and ends on Wednesday, October 22.
This class is in-person only without a Zoom or recorded component.
This safe, effective exercise program was designed by Dr. Paul Lam and a team of medical experts and Tai Chi masters. It was adopted by the Arthritis Foundation for anyone with arthritis or similar chronic pain. Also good for balance and fall prevention.
Sarah is skilled in helping participants modify poses for their comfort and safety. This includes the use of a chair in some cases.
Our Beginners class is for those unfamiliar with Tai Chi poses. Advanced Beginners is for those who have some experience. If you aren’t sure, where you belong, we suggest starting with the Beginners class.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing.
